About Jamie
Jamie Graham is a prize-winning author. Yes, I won a national competition at the age of 7 for writing a story about a bucketman and received a Watership Down jigsaw for my efforts, everyone has to start somewhere!
More recently I’ve completed a novel provisionally entitled “The Price of a Pint” which was considered for publishing by Canongate but unfortunately didn’t quite make it.
I’ve also written a children’s story called “The Tour de Farms” which is a bike riding animal adventure set in Scotland.
In 2008 my poem “Whit Kin Ah Dae Between Bin Days?” was a finalist in the Tyne & Esk Writer of the Year contest.
The aim of this blog is to give my writing a wider audience and get feedback on what people think of it.

Just thought I would like to be the first to congratulate you on your new blogsite. I hope you do some good work on here.
Good luck
Les
